Due to a scarcity of resources, too many low-income individuals are unable to get the legal help they need. You can help bridge the justice gap by donating to the MCVLP, which is an investment in our community.

For more than 35 years, the MCVLP has relied on the generosity of donors and supporters to provide quality, critical civil legal services to the neediest residents of Madison County, harnessing the powerful pro bono dedication of the private bar to ensure equal access to justice.

We cannot do it alone. On behalf of the Board of Directors, the MCVLP staff, and the clients we serve, thank you for partnering with us to provide much needed hope to those in need.

Here are ways you can donate to MCVLP

Cy Press Awards

When a class action is tried or settled, it is sometimes impossible to distribute all of the award money. Sometimes it is because class members cannot be reached or identified. Other times it is not economically feasible to distribute the money to the entire class, like when the cash distribution is less than the cost of mailing the check. When an award cannot be distributed to some or all of the class members, the law permits the money to be given to a charitable organization. This allows the money to indirectly benefit the class members by advancing the public interest.
