At an Assessment Clinic, the MCVLP schedules pre-screened Clients to meet with a volunteer attorney for a brief case assessment with counsel and advice. Your assessment will help the MCVLP determine if the matter should be referred to a volunteer for further service (something a volunteer would be willing to do pro bono) or if the counsel and advice offered during your meeting is all that the MCVLP can offer at this time. A Clinic is a “done in a day” type opportunity. There is no expectation for you to accept these cases for extended service.
