Congratulations are in order for several MCVLP volunteers who were recognized
at the State Bar Annual Meeting in Point Clear, AL in July. John Brinkley and Taze Shepard were both presented with President's Awards, reflecting their exemplary service to the legal profession.  Rebekah McKinney was appointed to the 2019-20 ASB Executive Committee as the State Bar Vice President.

 

Additionally, Taze Shepard was honored with the Albert L. Vreeland Award in recognition of outstanding pro bono efforts.  Taze has been a champion for both the MCVLP and pro bono service across the State for a number of years.  We are thrilled that his statewide efforts to advance pro bono civil representation for those who cannot otherwise afford legal counsel was recognized and honored by our peers and the Bar leadership.
