Volunteer Spotlight — John Allen Brinkley, Jr.
John Brinkley has been a true asset to the MCVLP since his admittance to the Alabama State Bar, and he has contributed significantly to the program’s revitalization. John is an active volunteer, gladly accepting extended service pro bono referrals to help low income clients in need. Additionally, as a member of the MCVLP Board of Directors, he is constantly an advocate for equal access to justice. For the past two years, John served as the MCVLP Board President, and we are forever grateful for his outstanding leadership. As MCVLP Board President, John was instrumental in hiring a new Executive Director, helping to launch our Lawyer for a Day Project, and hosting our recent Pro Bono Celebration Volunteer Recognition luncheon. Along with managing his duties as Board President, he continued to provide direct service to low income clients in Madison County. Lawyers like John inspire us to believe that equal access to justice will one day be a reality. It is an honor to spotlight John Brinkley. Thank you for your outstanding service!
