Volunteer Spotlight – William Messervy, Esq.
William Messervy, Esq.
Timberlake & League, P.C.
Thank you, William!!
What can you say about William that everyone doesn't already know. He's a fantastic lawyer, a caring father, a community volunteer, and a leader with a true servant's heart. When William stepped into the role of Board President last year, he hit the ground running and thankfully never slowed down or looked back. William has been a true leader for the Board and an incredible asset to the MCVLP. We are forever grateful to him for his service.
Under William's thoughtful leadership, the MCVLP expanded Clinic opportunities, including a new partnership with the Huntsville Housing Authority to serve indigent seniors in our community. Fund development and the diversification of funding sources has always been in the forefront of his thoughts, and he has been a guiding force towards the development of new special events, including a Pro Bono CLE and the MCVLP's upcoming new fundraiser for 2023, Race for Justice!
Along with managing his duties as Board President, William continued to provide direct service to our clients in a variety of legal matters through the Lawyers in the Library Clinic, the Disabled American Veterans Clinic, and the Wills for Heroes Clinic. Never one to say no, William was always there to lend a helping hand to our clients.
Lawyers like William, who unselfishly give back to their community, continue to inspire us every day. We are grateful for his dedication to the MCVLP and for his willingness to help at any given moment. His work and dedication has increased the quality of services to the indigent in Madison County and continues to impact the lives of many of our citizens who otherwise would not have access to justice. We are honored to spotlight William Messervy, and thank him for his service to the MCVLP!
